Filipino Garlic Rice

Filipino style rice with dal (fusion food!)

if you haven't been on her blog its great, and she has a gorgeous baby girl LOL
So I made it last night as I wanted something very quick, I added my own touch to it
Girlichef made a cool blog award recently to give to blogs, that you feel has tasty food so I want to give it to peachkins

  • 6 cloves garlic
  • canola oil
  • 1-2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tomato
  • peas
  • 1 cup of cooked rice
  1. cook the rice, and side aside, I use a rice cooker
  2. saute the garlic in oil, I use my Provencal garlic grater, add frozen peas, and egg, scramble
  3. then add tomato
  4. add the rice a little at a time with fish sauce and soy sauce and its done!
This was so quick and tasty great for busy week nights.
