Spicy Sausage With Gnocchi and Spinach

So after reading Bread and Butter recently and seeing gnocchi and spinach I just had to make it, I added a spicy Italian sausage to it.

Ingredients:
  • 4 sausages I got mine from Whole foods
  • one pack of gnocchi
  • one bunch of spinach
  • one tomato
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Italian herbs
  • olive oil
  • 1/2 red onion
Method:

  1. heat the olive oil and cook the sausages then add the garlic, tomatoes and onion and some Italian herbs, saute for 10 min
  2. Add the spinach and let it reduce down for 3 minutes
  3. add gnocchi to boiling water when they start to float at the top they are cooked, about 10-15 min, add to the sausages and veggies and your done.
This was a yummy meal and little Jasmine liked the gnocchi, my first time making it and will not be the last.

How do you make Gnocchi?

I remember having them with a blue cheese cream once or just butter, sage, grated nutmeg and LOTS of parmesan :)
