Eat More Fish To Lower Risk of Diabetes

Researchers from the UK looking at over 20,000 participants in the EPIC- Norfolk trial over 10 years have found that eating fish regularly decreased the risk of diabetes, unfortunately eating shell fish more than twice a week increased risk.

Take Home Message:

Enjoy both white and oily fish as part of a healthy diet on a regular basis (twice a week) and eat shellfish in moderation.

  3. This post is a great reminder to have fish more often. I think too often we get scared off by the pollutants article and dismiss eating all fish.

  11. These rules are so hard to keep up with. Now, I know pregnant women aren't supposed to eat much fish or at least certain kinds. Fortunately, that is not my problem :) We eat fish at least once a week!

  16. Fish is good for our health. But the way we made them also effected our health. Try not to deep fry. The best way is either baked or steamed them.
