I was just reading Michelloui's blog Mid - Atlantic English an expat blog, she's an American in the UK and has a great blog, she is having a giveaway with a cute biscuit tin she is going to fill with British biscuits or cookies here!

She had amazing travel quotes listed and I couldn't resist sharing them:

2. All travel has its advantages. If the passenger visits better countries, he may learn to improve his own. And
if fortune carries him to worse, he may learn to enjoy it. Samuel Johnson

6. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. Mark Twain

7. To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted. Bill Bryson

  14. I love the Robert Frost quote. I wish I could travel more, but work and lack of money prevent me form having that ability. I do know that I would like to go to Europe before I have kids, as I figure once I have children I will never get out of the house and I'll be broke. haha, although you do it, but you're lucky to have that ability!

  17. I really enjoyed these travel quotes. Reminds me why I enjoy traveling so much. If I had to think about a quote about traveling...Not sure it is a quote but, I am reminded each time I venture outside my comfort zone in culture and/or language that people are far more similar than they are different.
