Escargot French for Snails



We sampled snails or escargot in a small French restaurant in Mougins home to quite a few Michelin rated restaurants. I thought they may be chewy but actually they had a lovely garlic taste and went down very nicely. So why not give them a try you may be surprised as for cooking them I will leave it to the French!

  2. I've never tried them. I've seen them for sale in a can at the local grocery store, that doesn't seem as appetizing. I'd love to try them fresh someday.

  3. I guess if they are cooked right they are good, I would not know where to start, but seriously they were pretty tasty
