Tips to Lower Your Risk of Cancer


Its World Cancer day today the World Health Organization reports that 1 in 8 deaths is caused by cancer. Did you know that 40% of cancers can be prevented by lifestyle changes and vaccines.

Here are some tips to decrease your risk:
  • Stop smoking if you smoke, its not easy but well worth it
  • Control portions and stay active, to maintain a healthy weight
  • limit alcohol intake, in fact smoking and alcohol increases the risk of oral cancer
  • eat lots of fruits and vegetables they are loaded with wonderful cancer fighting nutrients
