Potato and Pea Curry

This is a super easy curry that pairs well with homemade chapatti, clip to follow :-) my little helper even rolled out a mini one that hubby kindly ate at 2 1/2 years old, proud of her. Its like play dough for little ones. This is a fun curry and the green chili gives it a little kick.

Ingredients:

  • about 8 potatoes cubed - par boil these for about 7 minutes
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
  • about 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 a red onion thinly sliced
  • 2- green chilis thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic sliced
Method:

  1. par boil potatoes
  2. saute onion and garlic in canola oil for 5 minutes
  3. add turmeric and chilis
  4. then add the potato and peas
  5. simmer for 10 minutes
  6. enjoy

  8. I saw this recipe elsewhere and wanted to make it and now I know, I want to make. Potatoes and peas, separately were favorites as a child and as an adult. Pairing them is a great idea.
