Hibiscus, Citrus and Basil Tea






Ingredients:


  • 2 teaspoons of dried hibiscus flowers 
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 2 slices of fresh orange
  • 2 leaves of Thai Basil
Method:

  1. add to a travel infuser tea mug with a filter with boiling water steep for 1-2 minutes 
  2. pour and enjoy
Does anyone else have any hibiscus flower recipes for me?!

  8. great tea, rebecca..I love hibiscus (we call it jamaica)and we use it for many things
    agua de jamaica
    sorbet
    glazes
    marinades
    soda
    oh we adore this flower..thanks for featuring a tea, look great and I bet it taste great with the basil!!

  24. I have this tea at our local thai restaurant a lot.I guess its an acquired taste for me now.I love that u added basil to turn the volume up :)

  25. We use it for a refreshing cold drink in the summer. But also to make syrups and ice creams. It is also added to hot punch drinks in winter time.
